Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders placed by consumers (Section 13 German Civil Code, BGB) and businesses (Section 14 German Civil Code, BGB) via the online shop of ZAFFRONIQUE GmbH (hereinafter referred to as the “Seller”).
Any deviating terms and conditions of the Buyer shall not be recognized unless the Seller expressly agrees to their validity in writing.
Contractual Partner, Conclusion of Contract
(1) The purchase contract is concluded with:

(2) The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather an invitation to place an order.
(3) By clicking the “Buy now” button, the Buyer submits a binding offer to purchase the goods contained in the shopping cart.
The contract is concluded as soon as the Seller accepts the order by sending an order confirmation by email.
Prices and Terms of Payment
(1) All prices are final prices in euros and include statutory value-added tax, unless expressly stated otherwise.
(2) The prices stated at the time of the order shall apply.
(3) Accepted payment methods: credit card, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and any other payment services displayed during checkout.
(4) The purchase price is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract.
Shipping and Delivery
(1) Shipping is carried out by DHL to the delivery address specified by the Buyer.
(2) Delivery times: 3–14 business days, depending on the destination country.
(3) Shipping costs shall be borne by the Buyer. These are displayed during the ordering process.
(4) International deliveries may be subject to additional customs duties, fees, or taxes, which shall be borne by the Buyer.
Retention of Title
The goods remain the property of ZAFFRONIQUE GmbH until full payment has been made.
Right of Withdrawal for Consumers
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days.
A full cancellation policy, including a model withdrawal form, is provided at the end of these GTC.
Warranty and Liability
(1) The statutory warranty rights shall apply.
(2) The Seller shall be fully liable for intent and gross negligence.
In cases of slight negligence, the Seller shall only be liable for breaches of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations) and limited to the foreseeable, typical damage.
(3) Any further liability is excluded.
(4) The Seller assumes no liability for improper storage or use of the products after handover.
Product Information & Disclaimer
(1) The saffron threads offered are natural spices. All descriptions, texts, and references to scientific studies are provided solely for general information purposes and do not constitute any healing or health-related promises.
(2) Any references to mood-enhancing, antioxidant, or health-promoting effects are based on external scientific studies, the results of which are not to be understood as medical advice.
(3) The Seller assumes no liability for health effects, individual tolerability, or results arising from use, consumption, or combination with other foods.
(4) Saffron is a natural product. Minor variations in color, shape, or taste do not constitute a defect within the meaning of warranty law.
Data Protection
(1) Personal data is processed exclusively for the purpose of handling the order and is protected in accordance with the GDPR.
(2) Data is only passed on to third parties insofar as this is necessary for the performance of the contract (e.g. payment service providers, shipping companies).
(3) No newsletters are sent and no data is passed on for marketing purposes without the customer’s express consent.

Place of Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
(1) German law shall apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
(2) In the case of consumers, this choice of law shall only apply insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which they have their habitual residence.
(3) The place of jurisdiction for merchants is Frankfurt am Main.
Severability Clause
Should individual provisions of these GTC be or become invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
Cancellation Policy
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you, received the goods.

by means of a clear statement (e.g. by email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us).
The reimbursement will be made without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days after receipt of the returned goods.
